Mica Paris stepped up to the mic, supported by her backing singers to perform a storming 45 minute set at Camdens impressive Shaka Zulu restaurant and entertainment venue. Mica performed material spanning her vast career including “My One Temptation”.

Last Thursday (4th August) ShakaZulu celebrated one year of trading.

A packed house with several celebs, including Imogen Thomas and Chantelle Haunton with partner Alex Reid, enjoyed the South African food and the wide ranging and somewhat individual drinks selection.

Entertainment included several performers dressed as African Wildlife, DJ Jay and Patrick Allens’ band performed their “open mic” style Music Box event, featuring several known and up and coming artists throughout their 2 sets (some 3 hours + of live performance). One young performer made a fitting tribute to Amy Winehouse, who was one of guests on opening night one year previous, her almost haunting rendition of Valerie was well recieved.

CTS were on hand for the event, providing technical staff, stage monitoring and FOH console.

Patrick Allens Music Box night runs every Thursday at Shaka Zulu and is well worth a visit for the great live music and the frequent chance to see some up and coming or even know faces get behind the mic for a few songs.

Last night saw Lemar perform a semi “live” set to a packed house at Camdens late night hotspot Shaka Zulu. Backed by his guitarist, the 45 minute set featured material from Lemars new album including recently released single “Way Love Goes”. The incredible audience reaction was almost an understatement to this amazing performance.

Both units came from a working installation and are in mint condition, we do not have facilities to test these units further as this equipment is outside of our normal line of business, however as they are among the most reliable of this type of devie, it is highly unlikely that anything could be faulty.

CTS Productions is currently supporting Friends Of Heatham House in their campaign to save this important facility for young people.
Richmond Council currently plan to sell the facility for a profit and then leave the future “new build” in the hands of a property developer. On paper the plans look good, but there are many issues surround them, from misleading statements and incorrect measurements to concerns of young people themselves regarding how suitable the facility will actually be.

As well as providing video editing for the “Heatham House is Not for sale” YouTube campaign, now on the forth cut, we also put together a promotion video for Heatham House using a combination video footage and stills.

Both videos are available on the youtube channel HeathamHouse, as are the older versions of the “not for sale” video.
The promotional video is also available on the CTS Productions YouTube channel, whilst the not for sale video won’t be uploaded until the final cut at the end of the campaign.
